Volunteers

Sagle Fire is proud of its volunteers, some of whom are shown here in a recent photo.  We have over 20 active volunteers from all parts of the Fire District.  Several of our volunteers are retired firefighters and bring their valuable skills and experience to us.  All volunteers receive thorough training and some go on to become full-time paid firefighters.

VOLUNTEERS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED

As a volunteer firefighter you will have the opportunity to receive training in all aspects of structural, vehicle and wildland fire suppression tactics.  High and low angle rescues.  Hazardous material recognition and mitigation. Open and ice water rescue techniques.  Vehicle extrication and patient stabilization  with training in emergency medical care to the level required for State Certification.  All this without cost to you by certified trainers.

Classes are scheduled at evening and weekends to accommodate most any man or women's  schedule.

Call 263-9541 for Capt. Reed at the Main Station for information.
